ITM 2026 – Eliar Elektronik

ELiAR at ITM 2026: Strong Interest, Positive Feedback

One of the most important global meeting points of textile technologies, ITM 2026 International Textile Machinery Exhibition, brought together all key stakeholders of the industry in Istanbul between 9–13 June 2026. With its strategic position bridging Europe and Asia, Istanbul once again strengthened its role as a global hub for innovation, production, and industrial collaboration in textiles.

With its broad international exhibitor base, strong visitor engagement, and advanced technological showcases, ITM 2026 emerged not only as a trade fair, but as a strategic platform shaping the future of textile manufacturing decisions.

Türkiye’s role and the meaning of being the host

ITM 2026 once again highlighted Türkiye’s strong position in textile technologies. However, what made this event particularly meaningful for ELiAR was being present not only as an exhibitor, but as a technology provider from the host country itself.

Türkiye has long maintained a strong engineering and manufacturing culture in textiles. At ELiAR, we continue to elevate this legacy by combining it with digital process management and automation intelligence.

This year, ITM became more than a trade fair; it evolved into a dynamic hub of exchange with strong participation from the key textile manufacturing markets such as India, Pakistan, Egypt, and Uzbekistan.

For ELiAR, ITM 2026 represented a transition from being a visitor in global markets to becoming a host of a technology and knowledge exchange platform in our own region.

Digitalization as the new standard: toward process discipline

The future of textile manufacturing is no longer defined solely by automation, but by the digitalization of process discipline. In the coming years, “lights-out factories” with minimal human intervention are expected to become the industry standard.

ELiAR is preparing for this transformation along three core dimensions:

  • Digital discipline: Maintaining standards independent of shift changes
  • Process stability: Ensuring predictable and repeatable production through integrated systems
  • Operational resilience: Sustaining production performance under rising cost and margin pressure

At the core of this approach lies not just automation, but measurable and continuously optimizable process intelligence.

Global competition and the new manufacturing reality

One of the key themes at ITM 2026 was the increasing competitive pressure faced by textile manufacturers. Rising costs, fast-changing fashion cycles, and sustainability requirements are pushing the industry toward more controlled, efficient, and data-driven systems.

In this new environment, competitive advantage is no longer defined only by machine performance, but by how stable and repeatable the entire process is.

As a result, manufacturers are increasingly seeking partners that can deliver not only equipment, but also process optimization, digital integration, and sustainable quality management.

A new standard in process automation and dosing technologies

Technical discussions throughout ITM 2026 clearly showed that expectations in textile manufacturing have evolved significantly, particularly in chemical dosing and process automation.

Today, manufacturers expect:

  • Reproducible recipe execution with micron-level accuracy across every batch
  • Maximum efficiency with minimal deviation in chemical usage
  • Closed-loop systems that minimize human intervention
  • Full data-driven monitoring and production analytics

This shift places quality consistency and repeatability at the center of competitiveness, especially in dyeing and finishing processes.

At ELiAR, this is exactly where our focus lies:
not machine automation alone, but process accuracy and production consistency.

Conclusion: The Road Ahead for Textile Manufacturing

ITM 2026 clearly defined the direction of the textile industry:
more stable processes, more disciplined production, and more integrated digital architectures.

In this new era, success will not only be about producing more, but about producing with the same accuracy, the same quality, and the same efficiency every single time.

At ELiAR, we continue to be at the center of this transformation, evolving production from simple automation into a system driven by measurable, repeatable, consistent processes.
