With this awareness, ELIAR takes great care to ensure that the personal data of all individuals associated with ELIAR is processed and stored in accordance with Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as “KVKK”), which serves as the Turkish equivalent to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The principles regarding the processing of personal data under ELIAR’s control, as data controller, are detailed below.

In line with our operations, ELIAR collects personal data that you provide physically or electronically in connection with our business and service purposes in compliance with KVKK. This data may pertain to individuals with whom we interact in various capacities, such as customers, suppliers, visitors, employees, and employee candidates.

Purposes for Processing Personal Data

ELIAR may collect personal data in categories such as identification details, contact information, customer information, customer transaction details, transaction security information, legal and compliance information, and marketing and sales data from parties including, but not limited to, customers, employees, prospective customers, job applicants, business partners, suppliers, and visitors.

The personal data collected by ELIAR may be processed to facilitate the planning and execution of the Company’s business activities, implement occupational health and safety measures, ensure information security, provide required information to authorized institutions and organizations as mandated by law, establish or execute contractual obligations, fulfill employment and statutory obligations for Company employees, manage recruitment processes, and handle legal operations. The data processing is carried out within the framework of the purposes and conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK.

Transfer of Processed Personal Data

The personal data collected by our Company may be transferred within Turkey or abroad to our business partners, affiliates, subcontractors, or service providers, as well as regulatory and supervisory institutions in accordance with the basic principles stipulated by KVKK and within the scope of data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK. This transfer is undertaken in line with the purposes described above and is limited to the extent necessary.

Methods and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

ELIAR collects personal data through various channels such as websites, contracts, mobile applications, emails, application forms, and verbal or written communications, both online and offline. The data is collected and retained to fulfill internal Company requirements, carry out our activities, improve services, and meet legal obligations within the scope and purposes outlined above.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under KVKK and other applicable legislation, you have the right to:

• Inquire if your personal data is being processed;
• Request information regarding the processing of your personal data;
• Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in line with that purpose;
• Know the third parties, whether domestic or international, to whom your personal data is transferred;
• Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, if any, and to request that any corrections are communicated to third parties with whom your data has been shared;
• Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons for processing no longer apply, even if it was processed in accordance with KVKK and other relevant laws, and to request notification of this action to third parties to whom your data has been transferred;
• Object to any unfavorable results that may arise from the exclusive processing of your data by automated systems;
• Demand compensation for any damages incurred due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

In accordance with Article 13 of KVKK, you may submit requests to exercise these rights either in writing or through other methods defined by the Personal Data Protection Authority. You may submit your request, along with documents verifying your identity and contact details, by completing the application form available at www.eliar.com.tr.
